Quality of Life in Cancer Survivors

A study published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in Feb. 2011 by a group at the Vanderbilt University indicated that social well being / quality of life in the first year after cancer diagnosis is positively associated with survival.

This study then asked the question:

How can any cancer survivor improve her quality of life immediately after the shocking news.  The answer is quite complex which most Oncologists do not necessarily have the training or time to address in great details.

Dr. Sheng, a former oncologist in private practice, and now a consulting oncologist in academia, can help by addressing stress reduction, regulating biorhythms, discussing nutritional needs, dampening internal inflammation, and enhancing immune functioning, etc.  He has helped many with a combination of Acupuncture and Herbal Supplements.
